Introduction

At Daroodi Ltd., every garment we craft is a bespoke, made-to-order masterpiece. Unlike mass-produced retail, our process begins the moment you place your order—sourcing premium fabrics, allocating master artisan time, and hand-executing your specific embroidery requirements.

“Because every Daroodi garment is uniquely crafted to your exact measurements and specifications, our return and refund policies differ significantly from standard off-the-rack retail.”

1. The Nature of Bespoke Goods

By placing a custom or bespoke order with Daroodi, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your garment is custom-made and personalized to your exact measurements, fabric choices, and embroidery specifications.
  • The garment cannot be resold to another individual due to its customized nature.
  • Under UK, EU, US, and Canadian consumer protection laws, the statutory 14-day “right to cancel” and “right to return” for distance selling does NOT apply to goods made to the consumer’s exact specifications.

2. Measurement Accuracy

The perfection of your Daroodi garment relies entirely on the measurements you provide.

  • Client Responsibility: It is your responsibility to ensure the measurements submitted to Daroodi are accurate. We strongly recommend having your measurements taken by a professional tailor.
  • Fit Discrepancies: Daroodi cannot be held liable, and no refund or replacement will be issued, if the final garment does not fit due to incorrect measurements provided by the client.
  • Measurement Allowance: A standard tolerance of +/- 1 inch is customary in bespoke tailoring and is not considered a defect.

3. Artisanal Variations & Color Accuracy

Our commitment to handcrafted luxury means no two garments are entirely identical.

  • Hand-Embroidery: Slight variations in embroidery density, stitch placement, and motif alignment are hallmarks of genuine handcraftsmanship (Zardozi, Dabka, Resham) and are not considered manufacturing defects.
  • Color Representation: We make every effort to display fabric colors accurately on our website. However, actual colors may vary slightly depending on your monitor settings and the natural variations inherent in premium fabrics like silk velvet and raw wool. Minor color variations between the digital screen and the physical product are not grounds for return.

4. Returns & Refunds for Custom Orders

All bespoke and custom orders are strictly final sale. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or offer refunds for custom-made garments unless the item arrives with a verified structural manufacturing defect.

5. Manufacturing Defects

We stand proudly behind the structural integrity of our artisan work. If you believe your garment has arrived with a structural manufacturing defect (e.g., a seam is entirely undone, fabric is torn upon arrival), you must:

  • Notify Daroodi within 48 hours of receiving the garment by emailing [Insert Email] with clear photographic evidence of the defect.
  • Do not wear, alter, or dry clean the garment, as this voids the defect claim.
  • If the defect is verified by our atelier team, we will repair or remake the garment at our expense. Cash refunds for custom orders are issued solely at the discretion of Daroodi Management.
